Netsierra.com is one of the many domains owned and operated by Pitt Sites, a company that has been around, in one form or another, since the 1960s. It started as Wm. S. Pitt & Associates, a small firm that did computer consulting and custom programming. In 1978 the company opened a retail store - Affordable Computers in Pacific Grove, California - to provide computer sales and services. The retail operation expanded and incorporated as Mariposa Computers with stores in Monterey and Santa Cruz counties, on California’s central coast. The corporation was sold in the late 1980s. In the 1990s, with the growing popularity of the Internet and the World Wide Web, Pitt Sites was formed to provide domain name registration, hosting, and Web site development and maintenance. From the beginning, our motto has been “Knowledge, Integrity, and Quality.” and we constantly strive to live up to that motto.
